MAKE UP INC. is a Japanese distributor and manufacturer of
cosmetics and other goods.
Since the foundation of the company in 1991, we have built deep trust relationships with domestic distributors and acquired diverse sales channels. In this process, we have steadily expanded our business portfolio, launching an agent business for foreign brand-name products and developing private brands, in order to meet the various needs of customers. These efforts have helped us gain the know-how needed to succeed in the Japanese market and nurture our ability to develop products that appeal to Japanese consumers with sensitive delicacy, thus achieving the growth that we have accomplished.

Organizational structure

One of the major driving forces that support our growth is the organizational power. We have a total of 10 sections, each with a professional team. These teams work together organically on a project-by-project basis to ensure that a high level of quality is maintained in all the processes, which has earned us the trust and success we enjoy today.

We have more than 5,000 POSs with a wide range of distribution channels, and this allows us to distribute products smoothly to appropriate sales channels for each brand in the Japanese market.

Import and export licenses

We have conducted business with more than 60 overseas partners in 15 countries. The trade know-how that we have amassed in the 25 years since the establishment of our company enables us to manage everything that is related to import and export.

Marketing & promotion strategies

We have sufficient knowledge of marketing and promotion to build brand visibility and loyalty.

Our own logistics center and quality control

In November 2016, we established a new logistics center of our own. Furnished with the most advanced logistics system and equipment, this center provides high-quality logistics services.

Also, for the purpose of quality control, we have a technical center on our premises to inspect the ingredients of our products in accordance with the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act. Moreover, our unique quality control system ensures compliance with Japan's quality standards that are said to be among the strictest criteria in the world.
